KANNAWIDAN FESTIVAL 2019

Every month of January, Ilocos is celebrating the Kannawidan Festival (Ylocos). In connection with this festival there are a lot of activities conducted in here. One of the highlights of Kannawidan Festival are the tents where there are lots of goods and products that are locally made by the ilocanos. Saniata is only one of the highlights of the Festival. And for this year's Saniata, Bantay won the crown. Some artists are also invited to entertain the Ilocanos. Many tourists come in Ilocos to celebrate with us. This celebration is one of the most awaited events for the Ilocanos.          The tents are located at Tamag groundfloor Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. I honestly, I have'nt visited it yet although I am planning to go. I want to look for some of the Ilocano's pride. The festival is also showcasing the talents of Ilocanos through products. Many ilocanos are spending a lot of time visiting the tents and attending some of the activities of the said festival.

CHANGE, STARTS WITH ME

I am just a simple young student but I have already my own dreams. We all know that change is the only permanent thing existing in this world. There are also 2 kinds of change, change for the betteror change for the worse. What change do you look forward? Is it a change for yourself or a change from your surrounding?        I am looking forward for a change, change for the betterment of our country. But how can we start the change. It is just simple, you can start it by our own. 'Coz we also need to change if we want something to change. There are so many problems encountered by our country. We don't have a clean and safe breathing space. "My breathing space is also yours". How can we stop or prevent it?, start it with yourself. Having self-discipline is the first step in achieving change. Don't wait for others, start it with you! Influence others to also make a change. Be a good role model to others, especially to the young one's.         Wh

New Year, New Me

Every January 1sr we celebrate New Year. We welcome New Year with fireworks, creating noise, media noche. But that is not the true essence of New Year. New Year is all about new beginning, new start, new chance, and another year of celebration. A great season to celebrate how grateful we are to the Lord Almighty, for guiding and blessing us throughout the year.        I celebrated my New Year's eve with my whole family and some of my relatives. At December 31, we were all busy preparing for our media noche. While waiting for 12 midnight, we sang with the karaoke machine and take turns in singing. At exactly 12 midnight we all create different kinds of noise as we welcome 2019. 2019 is the year of the pig. After the countdown we all ate our media noche togethet. It was full of fun and memory.           Every New Year, we all have our own New Year's resolution. We think of things we want/goal, or we want to change in purselves within the year. I also have
